Since honest evaluation is a major key to success in any kind of business, it’s important to ask on a regular basis how things are going. Is your team happy and motivated? Is your business growing? Are your patients or customers raving fans who refer you to their friends, family and co-workers? Do not settle for less than a resounding yes. Mediocrity and complacency go hand in hand. An honest Q&A session gives you the foundation needed to move into the realm of the magnificent.
Instill Great Trust.
According to Fast Company, “The Surprising Lesson Between Compassion and Success”, being nice pays off. “In addition to being pleasant and easy to work with, compassion makes you trustworthy. Trust is a crucial aspect of our lives because it makes us feel safe,” the research article suggests. If you want to keep the patient, the customer (and the team member!), keep the trust.
